Paldeck Breeding Overview by Element

Filter this directory by element to target specialized base production tasks or combat team counters:

Fire & Dark Elements

Fire Pals (Jormuntide Ignis, Blazamut, Faleris) supply Level 3 and 4 Kindling for rapid cake baking and metal smelting. Dark Pals (Shadowbeak, Helzephyr) are naturally nocturnal and work 24/7 without sleep.

Ground & Electric Elements

Ground Pals (Anubis, Warsect) dominate automated mining and handiwork production. Electric Pals (Orserk, Grizzbolt) provide continuous power to high-tech assembly lines.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Paldeck Breeding Directory (FAQ)

Key information regarding species guides, variants, and breeding rules

01.How many total Pals are in the Palworld breeding directory?▼

Our breeding directory indexes all 288 Pals currently in the game, including all base Paldeck species (#001 Lamball through #111 Jetragon), all elemental variant subspecies (such as Ignis, Noct, Lux, Cryst, Terra, Aqua, and Botan), and newly added raid bosses.

02.How do I find the best breeding pair for a specific Pal?▼

Click on any Pal card in this directory to open its dedicated individual breeding guide. Each guide displays all forward parent combinations (how to breed this Pal) sorted from earliest/easiest parent captures to high-level pairs, as well as reverse combinations (what this Pal produces when mated with others).

03.Are variant subspecies listed separately in the directory?▼

Yes. Every subspecies (e.g. Jormuntide Ignis #101B, Relaxaurus Lux #085B, Frostallion Noct #110B) has its own distinct card, elemental typing, work suitability profile, and dedicated breeding combination guide.

04.Can every Pal in the directory be bred?▼

Almost all Pals can be bred. The four pure Legendary Pals (Jetragon, Frostallion, Paladius, Necromus) cannot be produced by cross-breeding different species and must be bred by pairing two identical parents of the same species. Once captured, however, they can be cross-bred downward to pass traits like Legend to any other Pal.

05.What is the difference between this directory and the breeding calculator?▼

The breeding directory (/breeding) is a comprehensive catalog library where you can browse the entire Paldeck numerically, filter by element, and explore individual species profiles. The breeding calculator (/) is an interactive tool where you pick two specific parents to compute their exact offspring or test hypothetical pairings.
